The screws shown for the installation of Sure-Board® are the #8-2 self tapping drill screws manufactured by Prime Source.
All the other tools are common to job sites today. The router is used to trim openings in walls. Carbide tip saw blades for circular saws score the sheet metal. Standard screw guns are used to drive the Dart screws.
Hand fed screws are shown here, but collated screws are preferred for high production work.
The longer drill tip on the screws guarantee that the two metal components will be drilled before threads catch sheet steel. This will prevent lifting of sheet steel commonly referred to as "jacking".
