Sure-Board® has a gypsum board facing that integrates with standard gypsum board for a smooth uninterrupted finish. Sure-Board® requires no leveling and is ready for finishes. Sure-Board® lays flat on the stud surface with no sagging, leaving no surface irregularities. When Sure-Board® is used, there is no need for additional structural sheathing or tension strap braces, requiring costly and laborious pre and post tensioning.

Shear Applications
Sure-Board® is a steel sheet and gypsum board composite product that is installed on cold formed steel framed shear walls. Nationally approved for earthquakes and hurricane force winds, Sure-Board® is a value tested, innovative solution for controlling imposed loads. Fire Applications
Sure-Board® exceeds the stringent requirements of ASTM E119 for 1 and 2 hour load bearing assemblies for both interior and exterior cold formed steel framing. See fire test results.

Mold Applications
Sure-Board®, when laminated to the many readily
available weather resistant panel products, provides a durable and stable mold resistant panel.

Sound Applications
Tests performed in a NVLAP accredited laboratory in
accordance with ASTM E90-04 confirms that Sure-Board®, integrated into a number of wall assemblies, shows a reduction in sound transmission. (see assembly performance charts). If you require additional specific assembly testing, we can assist you to provide approved, independent laboratory testing services.

Impact/Blast/Ballistic Applications
Sure-Board® has been tested by the Department of State in
their simulated test program. We are developing an entirely
new approach to the current blast wall assembly for use in
commercial and enhanced security. Please contact us with any
